1. What is the MTSBU Database and Why Check a Policy?
The Centralized Database (CDB) of MTSBU is the single official database in Ukraine registering all compulsory OSCPV motor TPL insurance contracts and international Green Card certificates.
2. What Data Can Be Used for the Search?
The official MTSBU service allows a policy check for a selected date by vehicle license plate or policy number.

5. What If the Policy Cannot Be Found?
- Check characters: Cyrillic and Latin letters in a plate may look identical.
- Try the other method: use the policy number instead of the plate, or vice versa.
- Check the date: a policy with a future start date is not active on an earlier date.
- Contact the insurer: if the details are correct, ask the insurer or agent to clarify the policy status.
